WELCOME to the World of Missions. Pentecostal Fellowship Churches and College of Ministries Regd. was started in 1988 to pioneer and plant Churches in places where Christ was not heard. Since then we are steadfastly continuing in the mission of God in the land of INDIA. The work started under the leadership of Bishop Dr.A.G.Thankachan, the Presiding Bishop and his wife the Senior Pastor Glory Thankachan along with two brothers in 1988.

WE are in six states [linguistic regions] of India now, reaching the people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, building churches with people, Training indigenous ministers in Biblical-mission for pioneering and church planting, educating the children in Christian environment through our High schools, providing skills through our Regional Technical College, sharing the love of Jesus in action through our Home for children, and Home for the destitute and poor. Our vision is not limited with India, we are reaching Asia through our weekly Television Program for the continent of Asia and conversion banned states of India through regional language programs during the last six years.

Mass Crusades, Seminars, Women-Youth and Children oriented ministries along with involvement in charitable activities in nation building as and when the time demands, makes us very relevant in the sub-continent INDIA. This is India’s time; this is our time to reach 1.2 billion Indians in giving JESUS CHRIST.


LEADERSHIP PROFILE

Recognizing the divine call, Bishop Dr.A.G.Thankachan left the secular employment and went to a seminary for Bible Ministerial training and completed Bachelor of Theology, and Bachelor of Arts Degrees and entered into the ministry in January 1981. After ministering in Southern most State/province Kerala of India for two years in Bible Teaching, pioneering and Church planting shifted to the State of Andhra Pradesh in 1982 December with Glory Thankachan, Teaching in the Post Graduate school of a Seminary, traveling extensively in India ministering the word of God, continued the studies and completed Master of Arts and Masters in Theology. In 1987 completed Ph.D. in Religious Philosophy.

With clear vision and direction from God, established Pentecostal Fellowship Churches and College of Ministries in 1988. The work expanded into different states of India and according to the need established New Covenant Ministries and Welfare Society as the charitable arm of the ministry and St.Thomas Trust as the educational arm of the Ministry. In 2006 established Council of Charismatic Ministries [India] for building unity in the body of Christ among other missions and Ministries in India.

BIBLE MINISTERIAL TRAINING CENTERS

India is a land of multi-cultural, multi-linguistic country of 1.2 billion people. Reaching India is more difficult than many may imagine. If there is a most effective method to reach India, that is through training nationals and equipping them in their own culturally relevant linguistic atmosphere. After understanding this revelation our ministry started Bible College of Ministries in 1988. Right now this Ministerial Training Seminary is in the Posts graduate level offering Accredited Degrees. Our success is in the fact that 98% of the graduates are t engaged in pioneering and church planting work in India with our Churches.
Our Regional Training centers


offer Diploma Programs in the language of the Local Population, with the working knowledge in English. The duration of the program will be one to two years. The Trainees are gentile converts with no or very little knowledge about the Word of God. We have to start teaching them beginning with the names and order of the Books of the Bible. Thus this program should be on-house with great care and concentration.

We have Training programs in different Indian languages such as; TELEGU, ORIYA, HINDI, KANNADA, etc.

MERCY MISSION ARM OF THE MINISTRY

Jesus said” the poor will be always with you” Every miracle and teaching done by Jesus during His earthly life was ‘when he was moved with compassion’. The world understands the love of God, when it is performed with good works’. Apostle Jude predicted with prophetic insight that “some of you have compassion which can make a difference.

Our children Home was started in 1988. Last 21 years God helped us to provide to the whole person of these children – body, soul, and spirit. They live with us, fed-clothed-sheltered and educated. Majority are semi-orphans, orphans and poor. They are educated in the schools and trained in Computer Technology and PRINTING technology. So that they will be able to find job for their sustenance. Some of these children voluntarily went for Bible Training and became the Ministers of God. Jesus said, ‘what all things you have done to these little ones, you have done it to me.


Elderly poor women and men are recruited and provided with love and needs for their whole person. They are in the evening of their life, with very little or no assistance from their family. They stay in our campus and spent their time in Prayer for the mission of Christ Jesus and for the peace of the society.

THE WEEKLY SPIRITUAL TELIVISION PROGRAM

The Gospel of Christ should be preached to the whole world in fulfillment of the commandment of Jesus Christ. It is physically difficult to go to the whole world. What was impossible is made possible through the development in Technology.
In partial fulfillment of our commission, God enabled us to start a Weekly Television Broadcast in 2003 June. Eventually the Program number increased and we began to reach the whole Asia with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The program is produced in our own studio using own man power. The studio started in 2004 is still under expansion. The Program is known as REACH-OUT-AND-TOUCH Spiritual Television Program which reveals our motto behind the program. We believe that “Till all have heard” the Gospel should be proclaimed to the whole world and we are committed to it.
